What is Big Ass Canvas?

A social experiment to encourage community access to the creative process. We provide an interactive art experience where you can make art and make friends.  The canvas then gets turned into cash to fund great projects all around Austin.  We’ve partnered with several groups in our community doing amazing work in Austin.  Art for the people by the people.  That’s healthy for Austin.  Thank You

What will you do with the canvases?

Most of our canvases are created and sold to support great Austin community groups like Explore Austin, HAAM, Whole Planet, and CTC

When are your next events?

Austin supporting Austin! That’s what our Big Ass Fundraiser is about on March 1 downtown at the Silicon Laboratories building on Cesar Chavez and San Antonio St.  We’re ready to bring the funk. We’ll be showcasing several incredible artists as well as all the pieces created at our Big Ass Canvas events.  Proceeds go to benefit our great local community group partners.  Tameca Jones will be performing.  Open Bar.  Bring your checkbook or someone else’s checkbook and support homegrown Austin projects.
